Executive Lounge & Connecting Corridor @ FSM Vasant Kunj Campus
The Executive Lounge at FSM Vasant Kunj Campus was designed as a refined institutional seating space intended for formal meetings, waiting, and quiet conversations. The objective was to create an environment that feels premium yet minimal—balancing warmth, comfort, and professional clarity.The design language extends beyond the lounge into the connecting corridor, ensuring continuity through material consistency, controlled lighting, and clean architectural detailing.
Design Intent
The planning was developed to support small group seating and formal interaction. Furniture placement was optimised to maintain clear circulation while allowing intimate seating clusters.A key focus was to achieve a sophisticated atmosphere through simple geometry, clean detailing, and a restrained palette that highlights texture and finish quality.
Material & Lighting Language
Muted grey surfaces form the base of the interior, complemented by warm wood tones and cane detailing in the furniture. The combination creates a balanced contrast—professional yet inviting.A stepped wall lighting feature was integrated to add depth and soft illumination, becoming the defining architectural element within the lounge.
